WEST INDIES fast bowler Jermaine Lawson leaves the island today for Brisbane, Australia, in an effort to correct his bowling action.
Phillip Service, the West Indies Cricket Board's resident development officer in Jamaica, will accompany Lawson.
The Jamaican, who took seven wickets in the second innings, was reported for throwing during the fourth Test against Australia in Antigua earlier this year.
In an effort to correct his action, the West Indies assigned Service and former Jamaica and West Indies wicketkeeper/batsman Jeffrey Dujon to work with him, but he failed the test organised by the International Cricket Council recently.
