First bachelor's students to graduate from CASE
published: Saturday | November 15, 2003

THE COLLEGE of Agriculture Science and Education (CASE) will be graduating its first batch of students with the Bachelor of Technology degree at its seventh annual graduation ceremony on Thursday, November 27, on the grounds of the institution in Passley Garden, Portland.

Of the nearly 300 graduands, 20 will be awarded the bachelor's degree with a major in environmental science or agricultural production and food management.

PRACTICAL EXPERIENCES

CASE president, Hopeton Fraser, said the degree programme was a "blend of theoretical knowledge and hands-on practical experiences."

The programme was developed and implemented through a partnership between the institution and the Nova Scotia Agricultural College of Canada and several local agricultural and environmental organisations.
