Appeal to Mrs Seaga instead

THE EDITOR, Sir:

JUST MAYBE, all those letters to the Editor are appealing to the wrong Seaga.

Just maybe, they should be addressed to Mrs. Carla Seaga, who would appeal to her husband ­ in the interest of his own good health and so that he can be around that much longer to enjoy their daughter ­ to resign, since not only are his JLP colleagues ungrateful for his contribution to nation building, but so are the general public who are now clamouring for his early departure following the 'message' that was sent following the defeat of 'his' deputies.

Just maybe, he may listen to his family that the time is ripe for his departure... as they will always appreciate him, even if an ungrateful nation does not.
