East Rural St Andrew MP, where are you?
published: Wednesday | January 21, 2004

THE EDITOR, Sir:

WHERE IS the M.P. for East Rural St. Andrew, whoever he or she may be. The only time you see or hear about these people is when there is an election and these people want your votes. Harbour View citizens continue to suffer at the hands of NWC and there is no M.P. or Councillor to speak on our behalf. How long are we to continue paying sewage charges and not getting any services. Are the authorities waiting for an epidemic to hit Harbour View before anything is done. When our children become sick who will pay the medical bills? Will it be the parents?

We should not pay anymore sewage charges until a plant is put in place. Where is the Minister of Water and Environment? Where is the OUR?

I call on all residents of Harbour View community to rise up and take a stand. We don't need politicians for our voices to be heard.

I am, etc.,

H.A.P. PRENDERGAST

Minister of Religion

Harbour View

Kingston 17
