Tristeza virus still haunts citrus farmers
THERE IS concern among agricultural interests that the failure of numerous citrus farmers to conduct replanting exercises has contributed to the difficulty for the sector to rebound from the tristeza virus.

Dry spell hits 'St Bess' farmers
A DRY SPELL has hitting sections of South St. Elizabeth for several weeks now. The Ministry of Water's Rapid Response Units have been trucking water to affected areas but many farmers are still without water.


Increase in cost of chicken rearing
GLENDON ROY McDonald, 46, of Sanguinetti in Clarendon North-West, has been rearing chickens for more than 25 years.
