WEST INDIES captain Brian Lara was taken to hospital with a dislocated finger late on the second day's play of the first Cable & Wireless Test against England at Sabina Park.
The West Indies captain was fielding at first slip when he failed to hold an edge from Mark Butcher off Fidel Edwards.
Lara left the field to get treatment on the little finger of his right hand, all this was after a rain delay of about two hours.
The finger was put back in place but he was still taken to hospital for precautionary measures.
