By Chester Francis-Jackson, Gleaner WriterAND SO, my dears, with the traditional stag-party for Dr. Michael Zia-Mian being last night (the bridal shower was a week ago Sunday) and friends gathering with the bride-to-be last night, to toast her last as a bachelorette. Come tomorrow afternoon, the fabulous former First Daughter, will walk up the aisle on the arm of her proud father Phillip Edward Seaga, and under the loving gaze of her mom the fabulous Former First Lady and beauty queen Mitsy Constantine Seaga, at the Garrison Church, over there at Up-Park Camp, where after a promised wonderful ceremony, the fabulously lovely Anabella Seaga will emerge on the arm of her Godling of a hubby as Mrs. Michael Zia-Mian.
And me daahlings, it promises to be a class act and nothing but, with a critically hand-picked shortlist of especially-invited guests in attendance, with the reception to follow at the prized St. Andrew address of Hugh and Pamela Hart, she being the aunt of the bride-to-be.
More definitely to come, as indeed, this is most definitely one of haute-society's more fabulous outings.
SUNSET CEREMONY
And still speaking of fabulous nuptials Dovecakes, last weekend it was all about the tres chic Port Antonio, as last Saturday, the fabulous Tracey Lee Kemble, exchanged marital vows with her long-time beau, Brian Pierre Mathis, in a sunset ceremony in that fabulously breath-taking north coast haven of fabulousness that was so fine people are still a-talking, and that is all the way from Port Antonio through to New York and all the way to Hollywood, California.
And, little wonder here as indeed, the buzz is that the bride, a film and production executive, and her merchant banking director of a husband, who is also the owner of the famed Silk Spa of New York and a political appointee to the United States Department of The Treasury, were a picture of flawlessness, starring in their own prime time blockbuster of a fabulous merger!
Now dears, it was an ivy league affair, and then some, with many of the specially-invited guests jetting in on private jets for the wedding, which had its rites performed in a quaint little country church over in Long Bay, before guests celebrated at the world-acclaimed Trident Hotel, where the fab Suzanne Levy and her staffers not only put on the Ritz in a show of culinary wonderment, but simply dazzled the palate and then some, with an offering that was a toast to the esoteric wonders of this here island and beyond.
FABULOUS
So, my dears, little wonder, the international jet-set is still talking about the Port Antonio wedding, and with San San maven the charmingly lovely Stephanie Scott, being the co-co-ordinator of the event; that saw former Miss World, the beautiful Cindy Breakspeare and her hubby Captain Rupert Bent doing the musical honours, y'all know, the event was happening, and then some.
Luvs, it was like that, fabulous and then some, with only the fabulous in attendance.
My dears, the bride wore Amsale Aberra the world famous New York-based bridal designer, who along with her hubby Neil Aberra, were among the list of vaunted celebrity spotted, at the do, as was actor Bill Harper.
Also spotted were: Gloria Palomino; Johnny Hamilton and his wife Amanda Saulter Hamilton and Nicholas Scott as well of the mother of the bride, Jamaican born IBM executive Rose Kemble, who also sported an Amsale Aberra ensemble.
