'THE PRINCE and the Pauper' would be a good title to describe the battle of the two Tivoli teams in their 5:30 p.m. Berger Paints Super Netball League fixture today at the Leila Robinson Courts.
While the Sylvester Campbell-coached Tivoli A have been doing remarkably well, the B team - the only intermediate team to step up to the Super League - hasn't been so fortunate.
As a matter of fact, until this point, they haven't managed to defeat an A team and while Tivoli A are one of the better teams they will have to play.
Both teams are coached by Sylvester Campbell and this means that the B team might understand how to counteract the playing style of Tivoli A better than anybody else.
Another important thing to watch out for is the fact that Tivoli B will be playing hard in order to turn their fortunes around and that might spell danger for Tivoli A, who might have be tempted to take the match-up lightly.
Apart from the big match-up between Tivoli A and B, there are 18 other games scheduled for today.
In the Supreme Ventures Division C Netball League, Progressive Strikers will battle Rollington Town, JDF B will take on Jetsetters C and Duhaney Strikers will look to get the better of Ebony Strikers B all at 2:00 p.m.
While in the Western Union Division B, JDF A will look to reverse last Thursday's defeat against Arnett Gardens when they play Waulgrovians B, Omega B will be looking to match the performances of their A team when they face D.P. Raiders, De La Vega will be trying to exploit the inexperience of Hamshire C, Police B will try to stem the challenges of Red Challenge and Speg B will want to reassert themselves against Tredegar Park.
Leiba Gardens, after their close loss to Police B, will trade points with the impressive newcomers, Ocho Rios Magics, Seneca B play against Omega C, UWI Revolution are on the redemption path when they play Hampshire A, Speg C will hope to fend off the attentions of Alpha A and Eden Strikers A will try to undo the improvements of the Arnett Gardens team when they do battle. The Division B games start at 3:00 p.m.
At 5:30 p.m. the start of the Super League will see, Seneca A locking horns with Waulgrovians B, the Winston Nevers-coached organisations Windalco and Jamalco going up against each other, Molynes A will go head-to-head against Police A, Speg A will try not to be cut by Blades United and Tivoli A tackle their juniors, Tivoli B.
