FL: You have a striking resemblance to actor Johnny Depp and you must have gained a lot of attention because of it. How do you deal with all this attention?
Mario Miller (MM): I don't really let it get to my head. When people compare my looks to that of Johnny Depp, I take it as a good compliment for he is a cool guy.
FL: How do you maintain your well-toned body and what is your strategy for keeping off the flab?
MM: I swim a lot and I play football sometimes. I used to play football while I was at St. George's College and did a little when I was attending high school in Venezuela. I also eat a lot of fruits and vegetable and drink lots of water as well.
FL: Where do you consider to be the most intriguing place that you have visited in South Africa during your stay there?
MM: The Township of Soweto is one of the most interesting places that I've visited in South Africa. It's a part of Johannesburg and there you see a big difference in the way how rich and poor people live. Cape Town is also a beautiful place and a lot has been happening there in terms of entertainment, fashion and music. They still have a bit of racism, but it's nothing to worry about. Actually, I'm thinking of living there in the future.
FL: Where do you love to hang out when you're in Jamaica?
MM: I love hanging out at Backyaad on Constant Spring Road in St. Andrew. Last night (Thursday) they had a comedy thing which was really good.
FL: Are you working on any particular project now?
MM: Where modelling is concerned I'm preparing myself for Milan, Italy in June. In the meantime, I'm producing a new dancehall rhythm that I hope to release by next month. Right now, I'm looking for an artiste to voice on the rhythm.
