Commending good behaviour
published: Tuesday | March 30, 2004

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I AM very happy to report on something positive amidst all the negatives in our society today. Recently I saw a lovely group of eight children at Frenchman's Cove in Portland, they were all good-looking and so well behaved that I had to ask which school they attended.

Their teacher, Miss Deion Cherrington, told me they attended the Gideon Early Childhood and Education Centre in Buff Bay and she had taken them to Frenchman's Cove to study for the then upcoming GSAT examination and for some relaxation.

I am sure that among these fine young people, there are future Prime Ministers and CEOs as well as doctors and lawyers.

I again compliment Miss Cherrington and the parents of these young people and wish all the students good luck in the GSAT exam and all the best for the future.

I am, etc.,
