THE EDITOR, Sir:
PLEASE GRANT me space to put my thoughts to the public. It is Sunday February 23, 2020, Tens of thousands of people are gathered at the National Heroes Circle for the reburial of the Hon. Robert Nesta Marley, who has been awarded the O.J. and made a National Hero. King William of England and the entire Hollywood are here to pay homage. Planeloads of people, including presidents and prime ministers from all over the world are here for the reburial of the Hon. Robert Nesta Marley.
AIR OF FESTIVITY
Rastafarians from all over the world are here for the reburial. They have set up stalls and music around the periphery of the park. The bad old days of the police chasing the weed are over. Each citizen is allowed to smoke a spliff unmolested. The park has taken on an air of festivity, every person I meet has a flag of Marley with that spliff in mouth, although it is a burial there is a sea of red, gold and green.
The Prime Minister Dr. Desmond McKenzie looked so pleased with himself, although he has aged, he has said this will be his last term. His predecessor Edward Seaga had reburied Marcus Garvey, so, it is only fitting that he rebury Bob.
Readers forgive me I have just smoked a spliff and this is what my psyche is imagining.
I am, etc.,
