Take a bow
published: Tuesday | April 27, 2004

THE EDITOR, Sir:

LET ME commend Jamaica's two local television stations, Television Jamaica (TVJ) and CVM, for some quality television programmes that continue to inform, entertain and educate the viewing public.

The most noteworthy ones that readily come to mind and form for me must-see TV, include TVJ's 'Entertainment Report', 'Schools' Challenge Quiz', 'Smile Jamaica' and CVM's 'Impact'.

Other progammes that provide some interesting viewership at times include 'Mantalk', 'Hill an'Gully Ride', 'Creative Cooking' from TVJ and 'On Stage', 'Our Voices' and 'The Party' from CVM.

The producers and presenters should take a bow and I encourage you to continue to enrich us with these creative presentations as you compete with your main rivals, the cable networks.

I am, etc.,

ROMAYNE EDWARDS
