JEF seminar will challenge bosses to 'colour outside lines'
published: Tuesday | July 20, 2004

THE JAMAICA Employers' Federation (JEF) will be hosting a one-day seminar at the Hilton Kingston today featuring a workshop presentation by highly acclaimed speaker Jeffrey Tobe, Certified Speaking Professional (CSP), award-winning entrepreneur, trainer and author.

Tobe who comes with a repository of knowledge and experience in the fields of management, marketing, advertising and sales will encourage participants at this special one-day lecture/workshop to effectively use their innate creativity to their benefit in his presentation, 'Colouring Outside the Lines of Leadership with JEF'.

THE ULTIMATE WORKSHOP

"The JEF in its continued effort to encourage lifelong learning, self-development and competitive repositioning among our members and others in the business community, will be hosting 'the Ultimate Leadership Workshop for 2004'. We are excited that Jeff has agreed to join us for what promises to be an invigorating and insightful session," said Jacqueline Coke-Lloyd, executive director, JEF. "He is a very thought-provoking and energetic speaker who will provide our conference attendees with information and tools they can utilise in both their professional and personal lives." His approach gives true meaning to the notion of actionable learning.

Jeff Tobe, the trainer from Monroeville, Pennsylvania suggests "that increasing creativity is an individual task, while implementing the resulting creative ideas leads to innovation and innovative companies are recognised as leaders which stay ahead of the curve and outdistance the competition." Jeff encourages his seminar participants to look at their challenges from a whole new perspective and give them the tools they need to be more creative every day. 'Colouring Outside the Lines' focuses on how to creatively manage change that comes with innovation in the 21st century and equip participants with what is needed to stay ahead of their marketplace. Jeff's experience on both the agency and the client side of the advertising industry brings a different perspective to the whole 'creative process'.
