Furious over police shooting
THE EDITOR, Sir: THIS LETTER is one of utter disgust and reprimand for the police who have recurrently been acting impulsively in situations that call for their composure and rationality.

Vital to our existence
THE EDITOR, Sir: I SPEAK in reference to an article published on Monday, October 4, 2004, where Mr. Golding and Member of Parliament Shahine Robinson were touring an informal settlement in Roaring River a crucial watershed area of N.E. St. Ann.

We need housing too
THE EDITOR, Sir: FROM TIME to time we hear of housing projects being kick-started in many areas of the country, but what is happening to St. Elizabeth? Don't we have need for affordable housing?...

Big thanks, Sean Paul!
THE EDITOR, Sir: IN RECOGNITION to Sean Paul's recent donation of five million dollars to help in the aftermath of Hurricane Ivan, I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate him on a job well done.

Badly smashed
THE EDITOR, Sir: I AM using this opportunity to call upon the 'powers that be' to pay a visit to Yardley Chase near Lovers' Leap in southern St. Elizabeth.
