WESTERN BUREAU:

STRUGGLERS ALTOBAR will travel to Trelawny this afternoon to face Harmony in a rescheduled Captain's Bakery Western Confederation Super League game that was pushed back by nearly two weeks.

The game was originally scheduled to be played on January 15 but was postponed as Altobar sorted out administrative problems.

The postponement of this game and last Saturday's against Mount Salem will result in Altobar playing three games this week. They will host Mount Salem on Thursday and Roaring River on Saturday, at the Wyndham Rose Hall field.

All three games will be difficult ones for the team that is in last place in Zone One with two points from five games. They are one of three teams still searching for their first win of the season.

Meanwhile, newcomers Sandy Bay of Hanover continued to move up the points tables after beating Harmony 2-0 on Saturday for their second straight win.

The Hanover FA Sandals Negril Division One champions last year won their first game of the season in the previous round when they upset Orange Hill and moved up to third in Zone One on nine points.

LATE CHARGE

Beaten end-of-first-round finalists Mt. Salem, which have played six games, lead with 15 points, one more than Roaring River who are also on a late charge after beating a the slumping Orange Hill 4-0 in a Westmoreland derby.

Orange Hill are having some amount of problems as they are involved in an ownership dispute and the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) has suspended coach Linval 'Palla' Wilson after he missed a disciplinary committee meeting two weeks ago.

Seba United, meanwhile, scored their third straight win in Zone Two, blanking Salt Spring 2-0 at Jarrett Park with Norman Foster in the first half and Omar Reid in the second half the goal scorers.

The win takes Seba to 18 points, including the three bonus points for winning the End-of-Round final, seven more than second-placed Granville, who played to a 1-1 draw with Tomorrow's People at Bickersteth.

The in-form Larona Tulloch gave Tomorrow's People the lead after 28 minutes, but Navardo Fisher equalised 43 seconds into the restart of the second half.

Tomorrow's People have drawn five of their seven games and are in second to last place in Zone Two and are one of three teams still searching for their first win.
