THE EDITOR, Sir:

The letter carried in Thursday's paper over the signature of Agostinho Pinnock did not reflect the views of the National Environment and Planning Agency.

We are, therefore, asking that the following disclaimer be carried in your newspaper.

"The National Environment and Planning Agency disclaims any liability for the letter to the Editor captioned "Corruption debate compromised" that was carried on page A9 in the Gleaner dated April 14, 2005. We wish to state categorically that the contents of the letter do not reflect the views of the agency".
