Online visa applicants to get earlier dates
published: Saturday | May 14, 2005

The United States Embassy announced yesterday that effective Tuesday, May 17, non-immigrant visa applicants applying via the Internet will be offered earlier appointment dates.

The Electronic Visa Appli-cation Form (EVAF), for which no additional fee is charged, will allow more time to review applications, faster processing on interview day, and quicker delivery of visas, said the embassy.

Applicants without Internet access will not have access to earlier appointments and will experience longer processing times on their interview day.

Applicants can fill out the EVAF form at: http://evisa forms.state.gov. On completion, applicants must schedule their priority appointment through the embassy's online system at: http://210.177.22.41/kingston.
