Immaculate Prep to defend swimming crown
published: Friday | May 27, 2005

IMMACULATE PREP will seek to defend their Nestle Prep/Pri-mary Schools crown when the annual swim meet gets under way today at the National Stadium pool.

The meet will feature 33 teams and about 600 swimmers and will finish tomorrow.

Preliminary rounds of the events are set to take place today with tomorrow being allocated for the finals.

Immaculate will be depending on the 11-12 star Victoria Ho, six-year-old Rachida Sherland and Tiffany Barrett for a successful title defence.

They will also be looking for revenge after they lost out to Hillel and St. Peter and Paul in the Burger King meet last month.

Victory in this event would give the all-girl institution its second win of the season.

They will have strong competition from Wolmer's Prep, who were second last year, and Mona Prep, who were third.
