'Startime' for August 5
published: Wednesday | July 6, 2005

THE HEINEKEN Startime show billed 'Love Is Overdue', which was postponed on Saturday, June 25 due to inclement weather, has been re-scheduled for Friday, August 5, 2005 as a pre-Independence celebration of 50 years of Jamaican music.

For this August 5 pre-Independence staging, there will be a change to the line-up as George Nooks will be on a four-show stint in London at the time. However, rock steady king Alton Ellis has been added to the line up.

'Love Is Overdue' is headlined by Culture and the 'Cool Ruler', Gregory Isaacs; ska king Derrick Morgan; Max 'War Inna Babylon' Romeo; Richie Mac of The Chosen Few, England-based singer Little Roy and Cabaret singer Judi Emanuel.

Patrons are advised that valid tickets already purchased are good for the new date. Cash refunds for the June 25 tickets can be redeemed June 27-July 8 by returning them to the outlet of purchase only, as ticket numbers will be checked for proof of purchase.
