St Elizabeth PC still assessing road damage
published: Friday | July 29, 2005

Rayon Dyer, Gleaner Writer

BLACK RIVER:

SUPERINTENDENT OF roads and works of the St. Elizabeth Parish Council, Kenroy Stewart, says assessment is still being carried out on all parish council roads that were damaged as a result of the recent hurricanes which affected the parish.

"As soon as the assessment is complete, we will be submitting an estimate to the Ministry of Local Government and Community Development for the necessary funds to repair these roads," Mr. Stewart told The Gleaner this week.

Among the areas where parish council roads were severely damaged are southwest, southeast and northwest St. Elizabeth.
