Jamaica Gleaner Letters

LETTER OF THE DAY - Bound by the MoU, yet millions wasted
THE EDITOR, Sir: KINDLY ALLOW me the space to address members of the current administration as it is only through The Gleaner that I am confident my views will be aired.

Intellectuals have no appeal
THE EDITOR, Sir: I DON'T understand Jamaican intellectuals. What is the point of yapping on about all these lofty concepts that most Jamaicans do not understand or care about?

Chaos yes, but good legacy
THE EDITOR, Sir: I WROTE this letter to a few people recently, and while reading Dr. Penrole's article entitled 'PJ Patterson's Collapsing Legacy', I noticed some similarities with her thoughts and mine.

Congrats, Jukie Chin
THE EDITOR, Sir: GLENMUIR HIGH School has sent the following to Mr. Jukie Chin of Juici Patties: Glenmuir stands proudly beside you as you celebrate a significant 25 years of outstanding service...

No one person can save us
THE EDITOR, Sir: HAVING LIVED and worked in Jamaica as a foreign national (1992-1997), I can only agree partly with the commentary by Dr. Penrole Brown, regarding the "legacy" of Prime Minister Patterson.
