You have a nerve, Mr Patterson
published: Wednesday | August 3, 2005

THE EDITOR, Sir:

DOES MR. Patterson take everyone in Jamaica for a fool? Steer Jamaica into what safe waters? The only thing Mr. Patterson and his cronies in Government are doing is sinking the country into an even deeper mire than we have ever been in.

Five nights stay in a country for $420,000? Do you know how many children that could educate to a functioning level at least? But no, because he can only lead a bunch of dunces then money for education is not necessary. Instead he focuses on all the other necessaries that go into living big while a country of people he governs lives in squalor and are uneducated. You have a nerve, Mr. Patterson to think that someone is using this to try and get you out of power.

This is the truth coming to light and now we see where all that money that you are borrowing has been going.

Wake up, Mr. Patterson, both you and all your 'yes men' along with all those in the JLP need to welcome your exit and let people who know about running a country do the job. For God sake!

I am, etc.,
