published: Monday | August 29, 2005

A BRACE from Rohan Clarke enabled Port Authority to captured their first KSAFA Business House Football knockout title on Saturday, when they defeated National Commercial Bank (NCB) 3-1 in the final at Cable & Wireless Sports Club.

Clarke scored in the 34th and 65th minutes to set up his team's victory.

NCB were first on the scoresheet after George Clarke converted Christopher Windom's cross in the 17th minute.

EQUALISER

Port Authority found the equaliser through Clarke in the 34th minute, a shot which came from inside the six-yard box.

Both teams went to the interval locked at 1-1 but 20 minutes after the resumption Clarke found his second goal, which in effect hit the wind out of NCB.

NCB's goalkeeper Leon Lord was beaten by Errol Mohammed's searching pass which was met by Clarke, who tapped into an open net.

Five minutes later, Mohammed came up with the insurance goal for Port Authority, shooting past Lord from close range.
