KEANE
WHEN JORDANNE Keane of Immaculate Conception High School in St. Andrew found out that she got seven distinctions and one credit for the 2005 Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC), she was shocked.
"I was very, very excited but I was shocked as well," the 17-year-old told said.
She explained that although she worked hard, she did not know that she would have done so well.
Jordanne attributes her success to a number of people. According to her, God was at the centre of everything and she could not have done it without Him. Additionally, she said that her family and teachers were very supportive.
A devoted Christian at the Family Church on the Rock, Jordanne enjoys watching television, playing golf and tennis, and hanging out with friends.
The Aquarian said she will be going to sixth form next week, where she will be studying biology, mathematics, chemistry and communication studies at the Caribbean Advanced Proficiency (CAPE) level, equivalent to GCE A' Level.
While still unsure what she wants to do in the future, Jordanne is eyeing a career in the medical field.
