Kingfish nabs three alleged 'One Order' members
published: Friday | October 7, 2005

Rasbert Turner, Gleaner Writer

THREE MEN, who the police have fingered as members of the notorious 'One Order' gang, have been slapped with a battery of charges, including false imprisonment, shooting with intent and illegal possession of firearm.

They are 30-year-old Ricardo Gordon, also known as 'Jah Jah', 20-year-old Terrence King, also known as 'Hobut', and 24-year-old Dalton James, known as 'Jas'. All of the men are labourers of Homestead, St. Catherine.

According to the police the men were picked up in September, by members of Operation Kingfish, for their alleged involvement in the detention and threatening of a complainant in the area.

Reports are that on September 17, the three men charged were among a group of persons who held a man hostage and threatened to shoot him. The man however managed to escape and the police later arrested the three suspects.

They were positively identified on an identification parade held on Wednesday and are booked to appear in the Spanish Town Resident Magistrate's court on October 11 to answer to the charges.
