SPORTS

The 4x100m female Olympic relay team: For displaying the spirit of unity, team work, discipline and the desire to win/succeed.

Asafa Powell: For his contribution to the development of sports.

Veronica Campbell: For making Jamaica proud, despite the negativity plaguing our country.

ENTERTAINMENT

Claudette Pious: For her work in entertainment and youth development and her strong voluntary commitment.

Karen Smith: For her outstanding achievement in the field of entertainment.

Orett Rhoden: For being one of the great musical talents, and for giving back to his community locally.

Tony Rebel: For championing the cause for development through his music and for encouraging his colleagues to use more 'conscious' lyrics.

Richie Stephens: For his work with basic schools and the infirmary in Westmoreland.
