D'Roof Restaurant, on Knutsford Boulevard, was one of the participating restaurants in the recently concluded Kingston Restaurant Week (KRW). The quaint little eatery, located atop Wendy's, reaped many benefits from the KRW activities. "The response was tremendous!" said co-owner and executive chef, Joanna Thwaites. "Along with our regular customers, we have seen a number of new faces," she added.
Patrons Donald Dwyre, Diane Miller and Korine Rowe were caught enjoying the rooftop setting on Thursday, November 17. "The service was great; we were served promptly, though a lot of people were there." Like many other persons who patronised KRW, Mr. Dwyre asserted that the concept was great. Ms. Miller also expressed her delight with the week's activities, "I wish it lasted for a whole month!" Nonetheless, they suggested that next time the menu should be more diverse. Mr. Dwyre also suggested, "Next time KRW should start after payday when persons have more disposable income."
The party of friends were so impressed by the food and service at D'Roof, that they promised to return to the restaurant, even after the KRW activities have come to an end.
