Jamaica Gleaner Letters

LETTER OF THE DAY - Farming can be lucrative
THE EDITOR, Sir: A COUNTRY whose economy and survival are built around production will prosper. Agriculture should be the backbone of Jamaica, and we have a lot of catching up to do. Farming can be lucrative, but it is hard work and long hours.

Who feels it knows it
THE EDITOR, Sir: THE BIBLE says "we should do unto others as we would want them do to us."

Work for women
THE EDITOR, Sir: IT NEVER ceases to amaze me how the community can raise a great hue and cry when a criminal is cut down, insisting that he was 'killed in cold blood', but there is no sound or protest when a policeman is killed.
