WESTERN BUREAU:

IT WAS lights, camera, action, as a male strip-teasing Adonis, draped in a black leather trench coat, matching boots and g-string, gave Carol Bourke a lap dance last Saturday night, declaring her "40, just ready to sizzle."

Ms. Bourke, the first female to be appointed hotel manager of the Rose Hall Beach and Country Club (formerly Wyndham Rose Hall) was delivered a stimulating and mouth-dripping strip-teaser by her husband Richard, general manager of Hedonism II, Negril at their residence.

The Bourkes' home, adjoining the hedonistic property was invaded by sincere party animals, some of whom had travelled from as far as Kingston, Ocho Rios, Mandeville, New York and Miami for the magnificent celebration.

For years to come there will be fond memories for those who attended and dismay in those who missed it.

The event saw former Digicel billboard boy and financial guru, Joe Hylton, discarding his calculator and performing as if he had a new lease on life.

FABULOUS EVENT

The entire Rose Hall Beach and Country Club team literally took over the hosts' lush lawn, injecting incredible gusto into what was already a fabulous event.

In what was a rare occasion, Janet Wedderburn left the confines of St. James in order to party; Renford Bernard, with a broken hand, made use of all his other joints; Camille Delgado, sans her braces, partied as if there was no tomorrow and Yanique Meany proved conclusively that she was 'Tiney Winey.'

Although several seats were provided, that meant nothing to the crew of Nadine Williams, Zerica Lawrence, Mavis Thomas, Cedric Gooden and Ralston Burchell, as their heels dug deep into the well manicured grounds.

Jacqui and Henry O'Reilly were in bliss and Carmelita Olverson showed her husband George, a thing or two.

The life of the party, a 'spot man' named Lawrence Sutherland was strategically placed to ensure the words 'Nobody leave, nobody go' became a reality.

Montego Bay businessman Ian Dear, stayed close to the bar which served exciting martinis with names such as Oral Fixation, Midnite Bluetini, Tempestini and Be Wicked for a Night.

GOOD RENDITIONS

Cecile Levee didn't disappoint. As chic as any woman should aim to be, she donned a 'what's in' black jumper, making a true fashion statement. Her husband Kevin, was as easy as Sunday morning.

Songbird Karen Smith on the arms of husband Jackie, belted out Patti La Belle's Rapture of Love, while she massaged the audience with her incredible voice.

Guests were electrified and energised by the drums, strings and rhythm of the Roots Explosion Band and the vocals of Ben Frankton and Leonie Edwards.

Carol Bourke's daughter Samantha, parents, Baldwin and Shirley Pitter and brother, Peter Pitter and his wife Lorna witnessed the event. Her husband's parents, Yvonne and Paul Bourke were also on hand for the occasion.

Friends included: Senator Noel Sloley and wife Sharon, Jaime Delgado, Dermott Connelly, Tricia and Scott Bridge, Elizabeth Dyvall, Patrick Drake, Neil Tavares, Carey Wallace and Charlotte, Noel Sloley Jr., Junior Gordon, Michael Weatherly, Francis Chester Jackson, Lisa Richards, Stuart Douglas, Eric 'Busha' Clarke returning from a tanned vacation in Grand Cayman, the handsomely sexy bow-legged Ricardo Bowleg, Elaine Lyn-Cook and Steve James made up the impressive guest list.
