SAINT leads the way
published: Monday | December 19, 2005

Raschelle Osbourne - Saint model. - CONTRIBUTED

HEAD OF local model agency SAINT International, Deiwght Peters, has consolidated his agency's position as a leading Caribbean talent source for London's top agency - Premier Model Management. The prestigious British-based agency has confirmed representation for two of his models - Joelle Lodequi and Raschelle Osbourne.

The two will join Nakeisha Robinson and Sasha Gaye Hunt.

The petite 18-year-old Joelle, standing at five feet, eight inches, represents a departure from the norm for Mr. Peters' international models who usually stand at five feet nine inches tall. "I discovered Joelle two years ago at Campion College and despite her height I thought that she possessed extraordinary model potential given her vital statistics of 34-24-34; personality and work ethic," Mr. Peters said. He further revealed that Crystal Agency from Paris called his office last week to register an interest in representing Joelle who is also signed to Karin Models Miami.

SELECTED

This past summer, 16-year-old Raschelle Osbourne was selected by a panel of international agencies including FORD and Karin, as the CVM Face of Summer. "There were at least four great New York agencies that wanted to sign her during my last visit there," the agency boss said. But he has taken a conscious decision for her to start in Europe.

Premier is credited with propelling Nakeisha Robinson to international fame from its London base. The agency was a major force in the super model era representing the legendary 'trinity' - Naomi Campbell, Christy Turlington and Linda Evangelista. The agency recently booked the TOPSHOP and Benetton campaigns for SAINT's Sasha Gaye Hunt.

Bookers at the London agency were quite excited to sign the two girls when they saw their polaroids. They have already been enlisted under the new faces section on the website.

"This is yet another confirmation that the new faces are coming from SAINT International. It is consistent with our medium to long term strategy to develop a group of beautiful Jamaican talent that will dominate the world's fashion stage as a group in a few years," Mr. Peters added.

SAINT has also secured contract representation for male models Jermaine Maragh (CVM Faces of Summer 2005) winner and Richard Fuller with Citizen by Vision Model agency in New York. Simon Bowden and Kevin McDowell will join MC2 in Miami in January as well.
