Amanda overheard Josh making disparaging remarks about Erica to a reporter, but was then falsely accused by Josh of erasing a tape of Erica's important interview. David suggested to Jack that they team up to get rid of Jonathan permanently. At the same time, Erin and Aidan grew closer, as she enlisted his help to prove Jonathan's alibi for the time little Adam was abducted. Erica believed that she holds the key to Greg's secrets.

When Paul didn't deny being in love with Rosanna, an enraged Emily shot him. Dusty uncovered enough evidence to force Meg to admit everything she did to cover up the truth, and angrily ordered her to get out. A mysterious motorcyclist, later revealed to be Mike's cousin Nick, arrived at WOAK just in time to remove the bomb B.J. planted before it exploded. As B.J. fled with the police on his tail, Henry found B.J.'s briefcase, full of cash. Will agreed to Gwen's request that they start a family.

Bold and Beautiful: While decorating Dominick's room, Bridget suffered a fall and had to undergo surgery, almost losing the baby. Stephanie saw Brooke giving Nick a hug of comfort and accused her of wishing that Bridget's unborn child were gone. Hector stepped up his romantic pursuit of Taylor, who was crushed by Ridge's news that he had to remain in Paris a bit longer. As Hector acknowledged Taylor's request that he leave her bedroom, he kissed her, just as Brooke walked in and caught them. Felicia's illness brought her and Stephanie closer than they'd ever been.

Days of our Lives: Sami was not pleased to see an unattached Carrie back in Salem and schemed to keep her away from Austin, apparently without success. Meanwhile, despite having feelings for Carrie, Lucas refused to fight Austin for Carrie's affections. Believing that Alex was attacking Marlena at the cabin, John brought her back to the penthouse and produced Marlena's old friend, Dr. Louis Banks, as a witness against Alex. Alex was arrested for assaulting Lois but warned Marlena to stay away from her, as it appeared that Lois was following her own agenda. As Jack watched, unseen, it looked like Frankie was taking his place with Jennifer.

General Hospital: Alexis refused to go along with Durant's wish that she throw the case against Manny. Apparently not a changed man, Manny stole Carly's house keys. Courtney wondered if Jax sabotaged Nikolas' plane. Following an argument with Jax, a car struck Dr. Meadows, but Jax swore to Courtney that he didn't hit the physician. Jesse, however, found a dent on Jax's fender. Sonny lashed out at Carly about spying on him and Emily, as she persisted in believing that there is something between them. Luke blackmailed Jax into giving him a high-paying job at the Metro Court. Patrick had harsh words for Robin, who thought he pitied her for being HIV-positive.

Guiding Light: Turned in to the police by Cassie, Jonathan and Tammy were arrested for arson. Tammy wanted to hear no excuses as to why her own mother could call the cops on her. Desperate to prevent Alan from getting out of the mental hospital, Gus burst into Alan's hearing, but his irrational behaviour only resulted in Alan being set free. Gus then took control of Alan's limo, locking all the doors. Lizzie had to cancel her New Year's Eve plans with Coop, who ended up kissing Ava at midnight. Trying to act as though their tryst didn't mean anything, Dinah and Mallet made love again.

One Life to Live: Paige revealed to David that she gave her and Spencer's baby son up for adoption and that Spencer has no knowledge of the child. Bo agreed to keep Paige's secret and help find her son. Spencer told a delighted Kevin and Kelly that she could carry a baby to term. After acting strangely cold toward Blair, Spencer launched an evil plan to impact the Buchanans. Tess briefly emerged and was reunited with Nash, who was informed by Antonio about the paternity test. Dorian sided with Clint against Viki. Hugh offered Evangeline a deal to spare Todd's life, but it would keep him in prison forever.

Passions: Thanks to the mystery woman, Judge Reilly, who insisted to Alistair that 'she' had returned from the dead, released Noah from jail. Chris and Sheridan made love. Chad kissed Whitney and wanted them to be together, but Whitney insisted it was a sin. Theresa menaced Gwen with a scalpel, refusing to leave until Ethan heard her side of the story. Sam saw a video of Spike holding a knife to Jessica's throat and had to remain in the Crane mansion to save her. T.C. was out to kill Alistair after seeing another video in which he claimed to have paid Rae to seduce Simone.

Young and Restless: Hearing his name on the news connected to Lauren's death, Tom tried to strike Sheila, but was stopped by Lauren, before he abandoned them to die in the bomb shelter. John was in a car accident en route to confront Tom and was hospitalised with a heart arrhythmia. Ashley was found with a gun in her hand and arrested for shooting Tom, later telling Christine that she did it in self-defence. Meanwhile, Michael tried to extract Lauren's location out of Tom, while Paul and J.T. searched the abandoned farmhouse. Kevin and Mac ended up sharing a kiss on New Year's Eve. Turned down by Sharon after professing his love, Brad proposed to Victoria. Jack threatened to fire Phyllis from Jabot if Victor funded the spas.
