Letter of the day - Let's debate the justice system
THE EDITOR, Sir: THE RECENT 'not guilty' verdicts in two separate trials involving policemen have caused persons from all walks of life not only to comment and give their views, but in some instances to launch an attack on the judicial system...

A prayer for 2006
THE EDITOR, Sir: AS ONE of the inhabitants of Jamaica, land we love, I brace myself for the year 2006, with little hope for a cessation in the gun killings. By faith, however, I sought refuge in the good book.

Address traffic congestion
THE EDITOR, Sir: THE VEXING problem of travel on the road these days calls for some serious plans to be made for traffic management during this festive season. Routinely, vehicles are annoyingly delayed on the Mount Rosser hill.

Responses to the verdict
THE EDITOR, Sir: THOSE OF us who wanted the verdict of 'guilty' had an agenda. Those who wanted to hear 'not guilty' also had an agenda.
