Who was 'Bun Man'?
published: Thursday | February 9, 2006

ANDREW 'BUN MAN' HOPE

ANDREW 'BUN Man' Hope first came into the spotlight in 2004 when then leader of the 'One Order' gang, Oliver 'Bubba' Smith, was shot and killed. The Honda Civic motor car in which Smith was traveling when he was killed, was found to be owned by Hope.

Since then, Hope had allegedly been in charge of the 'One Order' gang which has been implicated in several crimes, chief among them a multimillion- dollar extortion racket in Spanish Town.

The gang, which is alligned with the Jamaica Labour Party is in constant battle with the People's National Party affiliated-'Clansman' gang, whose leader, Donovan 'Bulbie' Bennett, was shot and killed by members of the security forces last October.
