Nashauna Drummond/Shelly-Ann Thompson, Staff/Freelance Reporters

The bachelorette, Theresa Lindo (second left) with Douglas Harrisingh and her parents Michael and Ann Lindo.

EMERGING FROM the blue waters of the Caribbean Sea, bmobile's Singles bachelorette Theresa Lindo, was speechless. Dripping wet, Lindo admitted she was floored by the first date of bachelor number 21 Douglas Harrisingh. Harrisingh had taken her scuba diving and hid a gift for her at the bottom of the ocean. She returned the favour when she handed him the anthurium at the finals held at Liguanea Club New Kingston last Wednesday evening. He was her bachelor. As she walked by, pausing at each of the three final bachelors, Harrisingh told Flair he thought, "Oh my God this is my big moment." Retracing her steps, Lindo stopped in front of Harrisingh presenting him with the flower. Her comment was suffocated in the loud screams that erupted from his admirers.

'Finally Theresa's mine', were his first thoughts," he revealed to Flair.

Harrisingh's class and sophistication were what sealed the deal for him. Lindo told Flair, it was his choice of jewellery that sealed the deal. (White gold Movado watch, white gold cuff links and matching bracelet). "It showed class and that's what gave him the extra edge. He's charming and classy, a bit reserved and that's probably what I need to keep me grounded."

OTHER BACHELORS

Unfortunately Marlon Hanchard and Garth Williams will remain bachelors. Hanchard who had won the popular vote said he's just happy to have reached the finals. "Where I'm from (grew up in Waterhouse), I never win anything. I'm not disappointed but I'm happy and fine. I've had a great time and I've met a great girl."

Williams noted, "I knew she liked each of us for different reasons but she went where her heart was. I don't think I've lost because I've gained great
