King's house searched
published: Wednesday | March 22, 2006

POLICE INVESTIGATORS yesterday conducted another search of the Waterloo Road home of murdered Ambassador and chairman of the Trade Board, Peter King.

A Constabulary Communication Network spokesman told The Gleaner that homicide detectives and officers from the Caribbean Search Centre visited the home in the morning, but no motive for his murder has yet been determined.

Ambassador King's nude body was discovered by the police on Monday morning.

Police say Mr. King's body had multiple stab wounds and his throat was slashed. There were no signs of forced entry to the apartment complex.

During yesterday's sitting of the House of Representatives Derrick Kellier, Deputy Leader of Government Business, and Derrick Smith, Leader of Opposition Business, expressed condolences to Ambassador King's family.
