Churches Credit Union undertakes $5-m expansion
published: Tuesday | March 28, 2006

NAAR

CHURCHES COOPERATIVE Credit Union (CCCU) has completed a $5-million expansion programme at its Eureka/Ripon headquarters - an investment which general manager Basil Naar, says has given tangible meaning to the credit union's commitment to "raise the bar for service excellence even higher in 2006, so that we provide service excellence in all areas and in every department," he added.

Major refurbishing has taken place on the CCCU's third floor to facilitate the installation of a modern training facility for the credit union's staff, as well as to accommodate the organisation's new pension fund department.

At the same time, Churches Credit Union's human resources department, its audit department, and its marketing and sales unit have been relocated to the third floor - clearing way for the organisation's newly established micro loan unit, as well as its credit administration and operations department to move into space on the second floor.

According to GM Naar, the relocation of credit and operations from the department's former place on the fist floor - where the Eureka/Ripon branch of the credit union is also located - will facilitate the restructuring of the space in the branch to create more comfortable and member-friendly surroundings for persons doing business in the branch.
