NEW YORK (REUTERS):
Carnival Corp., the world's largest cruise line, on Tuesday lowered its earnings outlook for the second time in a week after a deadly fire damaged its Star Princess ship and forced the cancellation of several cruises.
Miami-based Carnival said the cancelled trips and the cost of repairs to the ship, expected back into service on May 15, would cut earnings per share by about four cents to 5 cents for the second quarter as well as for the full year. On March 23, it lowered its full-year forecast, citing higher fuel costs.
