HARBOUR VIEW regained their Wray and Nephew National Premier League lead on goal difference, after playing to a 0-0 draw with Portmore United at Ferdie Neita Park yesterday.

Harbour View, who played the final 17 minutes with 10 players, are on 59 points, the same as Waterhouse. How-ever, the 'Stars of the East' have a goal difference of 23 after scoring 45 goals while conceding 22.

Waterhouse have been more prolific with 49 goals, but have also conceded 30 for a goal difference of 19 with four rounds remaining.

Donovan Hayles, coach of Harbour View, was happy with an away point against a tough opponent.

"I am satisfied with the one point. I said to the players that from here on now, it is points that we want to gather and it doesn't matter how we get the points," Hayles said.

"We have to work and today was a very hard working game. Yes, I didn't like the style in which we played but we created quite a few chances and could have taken three points," he said.

Meanwhile, Paul Young, coach of outgoing NPL champions, thought his team blew the opportunity to secure maximum points.

"We could have won the game ... we had chances to win the game. On the other hand, Harbour View had a few chances too and I think the result is fair," said Young.

Both teams squandered clear-cut opportunities with Fabian Taylor for Harbour View and Portmore's Anthony Bennett the main culprits.

Taylor latched on to a Richard West pass and miraculously kicked wide of an empty goal. Moments later, Bennett found himself with only the goalkeeper Ryan Thompson to beat, but kicked straight at the 'keeper.
