FAMPLAN JAMAICA commemorated 44 years of rendering service to communities in and around Kingston through their Lenworth Jacobs Clinic at 64 East Street, recently.
Guest speaker John Junor emphasised the importance of the work done by pioneers of Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) in Jamaica - the late Dr. Lenworth Jacobs and Mrs. Beth Jacobs, whose organisation was the precursor of the National Family Planning Board (NFPB).
In her greetings, Dr. Olivia McDonald, executive director of the NFPB, saluted FAMPLAN's efforts in the SRH arena, and expressed the hope that the amicable relationship between the NFPB and FAMPLAN will continue.
