Western state moves to ban religious conversion
JAIPUR, India (Reuters): A WESTERN Indian state passed a controversial bill yesterday, prohibiting religious conversions, bringing renewed focus on an issue that has triggered communal violence and been used as a political tool.

Suicide bombers kill 71 at Baghdad mosque
BAGHDAD (Reuters): THREE SUICIDE bombers dressed as women killed at least 71 people at a Shi'ite mosque yesterday, the bloodiest attack in Iraq for at least three months.


Poll shows three-way tie ahead of presidential vote
