THIRTY-NINE-YEAR-OLD Michael McLean was again remanded when he appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday.
McLean has been charged with six counts of murder following the deaths of six members of a family in St. Thomas in February.
Among those killed were four children.
He is scheduled to return to court on May 4.
When he appeared in court yesterday, McLean was still without a lawyer to defend him and again requested that property seized by the police be returned to allow him to retain legal counsel.
The court was told that McLean was interviewed for legal aid, but he refused to have such representation.
He then requested a phone call to arrange for legal representation and Resident Magistrate Judith Pusey directed that his request be granted.
