Blame women's lib for crime
published: Saturday | May 27, 2006

THE EDITOR, Sir:

NAPOLEON SAID "Let France have good mothers and she will have good sons."

The Apostle Paul said to his beloved son in the faith, Timothy "When I consider the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in they grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice, and I am persuaded that it is in thee also."

Let Jamaica have good mothers and she will have good sons and she will have less crime.

The decadence and the immorality which are the hallmarks of present-day western society has its genesis in the total liberation of the western woman.

Solomon, the wisest man who ever lived spoke of a type of woman who society needs to pay careful attention to. It is that woman mentioned in Proverbs Chapter 2 and 5. It is said that behind great men stand great women. Therefore, though it is a bitter pill to swallow, behind terrible men stand terrible women.

There lies between that man who is about to be executed and the gallows perhaps at some distant time in the past, the shadow of a woman who did not nurture him properly. The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world. Some terrible 'rockings' seem to be taking place in Jamaican society.

I am, etc.,

P. LOGAN

Duncans, Trelawny
