LETTER OF THE DAY - Red carpet, not red tape, for investors
THE EDITOR, Sir: THE GOVERNMENT of Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller must quickly change the archaic banking laws and bureaucracy that are suffocating development and preventing legitimate investors from bringing their money to Jamaica.

The brain drain and emigration
THE EDITOR, Sir: I WRITE in reference to the sentiments articulated by Mr. Patrick Hylton who referred to migration from Jamaica as a 'brain gain', as opposed to the widely-held view that migration leads to a 'brain drain'. I agree with Mr. Hylton.
