BRAD HAMILTON will lead Jamaica's contingent to the Caribbean Island Swimming Championships (CISC) in Puerto Rico tomorrow.
The Jamaicans leave the island today for the tournament, which will run until July 1, with a significantly smaller squad than they did when they finished third in 2004.
Without a water polo team, the Jamaicans will try to get back onto the medal podium with a 21-member squad that includes the synchronised swim team.
In the 11-12 age group, Kendese Nangle will lead Jamaica's charge along with David Bromfield.
Raynae Hall, Janhoi McCallum and Steven Moodie also make the trip in that age group.
Six swimmers, led by Dominique Dawson will go to Puerto Rico to garner points for Jamaica in the 13-14 age group.
The others are Lanesa Downs, Richard Graham, Donovan Todd, Dominic Walter and Ramon Walton.
Hamilton, who swims in the 15-17 age group, will only have two other teammates in that category, Travis Forte and Matthew Hilton, while Dominic Lee will be even lonelier and have even more of a workload, being the only member of the team who will swim in the 18 and over age group.
SYNCHRONISED TEAM
The synchronised swimmers will have representatives from two age groups, the 12 and under and the 16-18, with seven members in total competing.
Ashlei Gayle and Jessica Lim Sang will swim with the juniors, while Jhaenelle Adams, Stephanie Barrett, Monique Forrester and Robyn Parkins make up the 16-18 age group.
The synchronised swim team will be headed by coach Catherine Lim Sang, while Jackie Walter is the head coach of the swim team.
Assistant coach Linval Lowe, swim team manager Raymond Hall, synchronised swim team manager Michelle McIntyre, and the team's physiotherapist Angela McIntosh, complete the technical staff that make the trip.
