CARICOM ready to welcome Preval
GEORGETOWN, GUYANA (AP): The Caribbean Community will be ready to welcome Haiti back into the regional group at its Council of Ministers meeting in July after a 28-month suspension, officials said Saturday.

GUYANA: Security agencies told to launch assault on crime
GEORGETOWN, GUYANA (CMC): The Guyanese government has told law enforcement agencies to launch a comprehensive assault against crime, head of the Presidential Secretariat Dr Roger Luncheon has reported.
