More days of suffering
published: Sunday | July 30, 2006

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I would like to respond to the letter by the '100 day sufferer' published in The Gleaner on Wednesday, July 26. It did a perfect job of summing up our PM's (lack of) progress since she came into office.

As far as I can see, if we keep this party in power, we will be in for hundreds of more days of suffering. Long-suffering we maybe, but we cannot bear much more.

For God does not give us more than we can bear, and he knows we have suffered too much already.

Let us give ourselves a chance to save hundreds of Jamaicans from hundreds of more days of suffering at our earliest opportunity. If the government can't give us better, then it is time to give ourselves a better government.

I am, etc.

DIANNE TYLOR
