Jodi-Ann and Edward Panther on their wedding day. - Contributed

It all began almost a decade ago when Jodi-Ann Henry and Edward Panther met. Jodi-Ann, now 22, and Edward, 25, were high school sweethearts and even though it was a bittersweet relationship, they have grown to become lovers.

They exchanged their wedding vows on May 27, at 8:30 a.m. The ceremony was held under the gazebo at the Jamaica Pegasus hotel. The reception then followed in the Port Antonio suite at the same venue.

The bride was escorted by her parents Beverly and Hopeton Henry. She was accompanied by her four bridesmaids: Charmaine Grant, Rennae Johnson, Mauvreen Clarke and Deidre-ann Barrett and matron of honour Tanesha Gayle.

The groom was also accompanied by his four groomsmen: Nigel Henry, Rohan Whyte, Mark McLean and Oneil Eastwood and best man Rhoalle Davis. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Donald Reid and the master of ceremonies was Dwight Peccoo. The couple spent the night at the Jamaica Pegasus hotel, after which they honeymooned at the Runaway Bay HEART Hotel.
