Six killed in shoot-out with authorities
PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad (CMC): Guyana authorities yesterday said they shot and killed six persons allegedly involved in the robbery of two banks last weekend, and have also sought to clarify Georgetown's request for assistance from Trinidad and Tobago.

Manning presents draft constitution to Parliament

PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad (CMC): Prime Minister Patrick Manning yesterday presented a new draft constitution to Parliament saying it was necessary to have "another look at the supreme law of the land".
