Sunday Gleaner reporter Nagra Plunkett yesterday elicited the views of parents in Montego Bay about preparing children to return to school.
As a parent, how challenging did you find the back-to-school preparations?
Andy Campbell, Security Guard

Widmarc Orie, Taxi Operator
"It wicked, cost of living and education in Jamaica. Books are not supposed to be so costly. It's the worst year for me since me running taxi."
Anthony Mills, Customer Service Rep
"For me it was not hard and not easy. I wasn't caught in the last-minute shopping that will see you spending more."
Cynthia Lawrence, Domestic Worker
"I can't find money to send my three grandchildren to school l, not to mention buying the books that are so expensive."
Valerie Warlock, Newspaper Vendor
"Rough, I wouldn't mind some assistance now. The school fees and books are killing me."
