Dreams and visions
published: Saturday | September 9, 2006

Jah Foresight, Contributor

Inspiration is a gift. I rarely ever write these columns without some divine force. I rarely write these columns in day hours. Most times whenever I am writing, I do not have a clue what I will be writing about. The only formula that I have is that I would go to bed and wake up at about 4 o'clock in the morning after the inspiration comes in my sleep. Please remember that the scripture states that young and old men should have dreams and visions. I normally attack this column in an ital situation, where I write with a natural vibration. That is why my name is Jah Foresight.

This morning I got up and was so scared. I felt as if five rolling calves had passed through the house. I am now wide awake from the dream. I dreamt a few minutes ago that I was at some conference in Kingston and I had parked my car in one of those commercial parking lots. Kingston is not my favourite place on earth, too many different types of spirits. Every moment I would peep through the window to see if the car was all right. At the end of the meeting, I went into the parking lot. The car was there, at least the back part with a box of papers left on the back seat. The front section of the car had disappeared to the naked eye.

This has brought back painful memories to April last year when one of my cars was stolen from home under my watchful eyes. With the police station a mile away, no one turned up when called at midnight after the two men had problems pushing out the vehicle. The big pain is that I had another car that I was setting up to race at Vernamfield. Two men came to my workplace from Montego Bay saying that I was selling the vehicle. I told them I had no such intention. A spirit told me to just drive home, which I did. I was shocked to see these men with the bonnet up at my house looking at the engine. I had to draw my bow and arrow. I sold the car for 'little or nothing', to a friend that same night.

Wicked sight

I was travelling with another country friend to Kingston the other day. I rarely drive to Kingston alone for security and spiritual reasons. We stopped in Clarendon to buy some yam and breadfruits for relatives. We drove to East Kingston to do the delivery. As we turned into a street, we saw a wicked sight. We saw about 10 men raping a Honda Civic. I think it is the beard and the colourful tams (looking like the Taliban) that saved our lives. The car was scrapped in about five minutes and there was no residue left. This was a perfect form of division of labour. I think I can peep outside to see if the cars are around.

I love the story of Deacon Holey from Ulster Spring. He dropped in a 200-foot sink hole and survived. This is the flipside of the other deacon story. This also shows that country people really care and they maintain the search even to check out holes. I was told that it was a mad woman who saw him when he went through the short cut. When was the last time you talk and listen to a mad woman?

The big jackpot went away to one person. Last week I made a statement that it would grow. I had to and that was why it was won. People get complacent and if you don't talk, that person might not have bought his number. The numbers for last Saturday were: 5, 7, 9, 14, 21, 31 and the bonus ball of 3. The numbers for last Wednesday were 6, 7, 14, 18, 19, 26 and the bonus ball of 32. The repeated number was 7 and the consecutive numbers of 18 and 19. The jackpot is now at $10 million.

There is a young lady who emailed me stating that I should be on television. She stated that I should be on Susan or Carlene's show or 'Religious Hard Talk'. I just want to say that they would not come to the country to shoot their programmes. Kingston is not Jamaica and these folks would not consider me for such a programme anyway.
